ReelPrompt is a creative tool that produces video using generative AI. This page explains how it works and your responsibilities when sharing AI-generated content.
What powers the app
- Video generation: Google Vertex AI Veo 3.1. Your prompt (and optional reference image) is sent to Google's servers to produce a short MP4.
- Prompt expansion: Anthropic Claude helps turn a short idea into a structured cinematic prompt.
- Watermarking: Videos generated by Veo carry Google SynthID, an invisible watermark that can be detected by compatible tools to identify AI-generated content.
- Content Credentials: Where supported, outputs include C2PA Content Credentials metadata that describes the source model.
What videos are — and are not
- They are synthesized approximations produced by a model, not recordings of real events.
- They may contain visual artifacts, inaccuracies, or unexpected content.
- They may resemble real people, places, or logos by coincidence. Resemblance does not imply endorsement.
Your responsibilities
- Disclose AI use. When you share an AI-generated video on social media, in commercial work, or in journalism, clearly tell the audience it is AI-generated.
- Do not mislead. Do not present AI output as real footage, real speech of real people, or authentic evidence of events that did not happen.
- Respect people. Do not generate videos depicting real people without their consent, especially in sexual, violent, defamatory, or impersonating contexts.
- Respect IP. Do not generate content that infringes copyrighted characters, logos, or proprietary likenesses.
- Follow the rules. Comply with our Terms of Service, Google's Generative AI Additional Terms, and the laws of your jurisdiction.
Moderation
We apply automated filters to prompts and to generated videos, and we reserve the right to reject any request or remove any output that violates our Terms. You can report content using the Report option in the app, and we review reports promptly.
