Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information ReelPrompt ("we," "our," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. ReelPrompt is a mobile app that lets you generate short AI videos. Questions? support@reelpromptvideo.com.

1. Information we collect

• Prompts you type. We send your text prompt and any optional reference image to our servers to generate your video.
• Reference images. If you attach an image, we transmit it to Google Vertex AI for processing. Images are not retained after generation.
• Generated videos. Your outputs are stored in Google Cloud Storage for up to 7 days so the app can play them back, then automatically deleted.
• Device identifier. A randomly generated per-install ID used to rate-limit and prevent abuse. Not linked to your real identity.
• Purchase receipts. Apple or Google sends us a transaction receipt when you buy a video credit, so we can verify the purchase and deliver the product.
• App diagnostics. Non-personal metrics such as crash reports and generation success rate.

We do not collect your name, email, address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photo library, or browsing history unless you voluntarily enter them (for example, when signing in with Apple or Google).

2. How we use information

• To generate, deliver, and play back the videos you ask for.
• To detect abuse, enforce our Terms of Service, and prevent fraud.
• To process purchases through Apple's or Google's billing systems.
• To debug crashes and improve app stability.

3. Third-party services

We share the minimum data needed with these processors to run the service:

• Google Cloud / Vertex AI — runs Veo 3.1 video generation and hosts short-lived output videos. Google Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic — turns your short idea into a structured prompt via Claude. Your prompt text is sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic Privacy Policy.
• Apple / Google — processes in-app purchases and sends us transaction receipts. Apple Privacy Policy · Google Privacy Policy.
• Railway — hosts our backend server.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Retention

• Generated videos: up to 7 days in cloud storage, then auto-deleted.
• Transaction records: retained as required by tax and accounting laws (typically 7 years).
• Device identifier and usage counters: up to 12 months, then purged.
• All data tied to your account is deleted when you use the Delete Account option in the app.

5. Your choices

• Delete your account and data. Open the app → profile → Delete Account. This removes your account, transaction history, and any stored videos.
• Export your data. Open the app → profile → Export Data.
• Opt out of tracking. ReelPrompt does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, so there is nothing to opt out of.
• Contact us. Email support@reelpromptvideo.com for any request related to your data.

6. Children

ReelPrompt is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, email support@reelpromptvideo.com and we will delete it.

7. International users

We operate the service from the United States. By using ReelPrompt you consent to your data being processed in the U.S., which may have different privacy laws than your country.

8. Security

We use industry-standard TLS transport, signed URLs for video delivery, and encrypted device storage for any tokens. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong passcode on your device.

9. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top and notify you in-app. Continued use after that date means you accept the change.
