Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReelPrompt mobile app and related services operated by Piedmont Developers. By installing or using ReelPrompt you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use ReelPrompt. Users under 18 in certain regions must have parental or guardian consent. The app will block you from using features you are not eligible for.
2. Your account and content
- You are responsible for the prompts you submit and any reference images you upload.
- You retain ownership of your input prompts and images. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to generate your requested video.
- You retain the right to use the videos you generate, subject to our AI Disclosure and Google's Veo-specific terms.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use ReelPrompt to generate, distribute, or solicit:
- Sexually explicit content, nudity, or content involving minors.
- Real-person likenesses without permission, including public figures used in misleading contexts.
- Content depicting violence, self-harm, or hate speech.
- Deceptive content intended to defraud, harass, or impersonate.
- Content that infringes third-party intellectual property.
- Anything that violates applicable law.
We use automated and human review to detect violations. Violating content may be blocked pre-generation, removed post-generation, and may result in account suspension without refund.
4. Purchases and refunds
- ReelPrompt charges per video at the tier you select. All purchases are processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android).
- If a generation fails due to our error, we issue an automatic in-app credit or refund request to the platform store.
- Refunds for completed, successfully delivered videos are governed by Apple's and Google's refund policies.
- Prices are displayed before each purchase. Taxes may apply.
5. Moderation
We reserve the right to block any prompt, discard any output, or suspend any account we reasonably believe violates these Terms. We maintain a report mechanism in the app and will act on reports in a timely manner.
6. Service availability
ReelPrompt depends on third-party providers including Google Vertex AI and Apple/Google billing. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance or outages may temporarily disable generation.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI outputs may contain errors, artifacts, or unexpected content. You are solely responsible for how you use them.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIEDMONT DEVELOPERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 30 DAYS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Piedmont Developers harmless from any claim arising out of your prompts, outputs, or violation of these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
